An index of every significant, identifiable word is automatically created when users scan or import documents into Recollect Enterprise Officemate or Recollect Enterprise Courier. Recollect Officemate and Courier have built-in OCR (Optical Character Recognition), which converts scanned image files into editable text.
When the user performs a full-text search, Recollect intelligently searches the index and rapidly retrieves targeted documents or words, even if the found words are fuzzy (misspelled, run-together, or typo) versions of the desired word.
