Interactive Voice Response System
In addition to normal incoming call routing, you can reduce No-Shows and increase patient satisfaction with Health Highway's integrated appointment reminder service. A friendly pre-recorded message can be delivered to each of your scheduled patients one or two days prior to their scheduled appointment. No dedicated phone lines to install and no additional hardware to purchase. Custom pre-recorded messages can be prepared to deliver the kind of message and image you want for your clinic.

The same general information that you presently have on your answering system such as department extensions, directions, working hours, health plans, can be preserved or improved upon while you make use of features normally only found in IVR systems costing $30,000.00 and up. 

Database driven, fully integrated appointment scheduling over the telephone. You decide in advance what kind of appointments can be scheduled and who you will allow to schedule over the phone. Using IVR technology, your patients can schedule routine appointments in pre-selected time slots or on a next available basis. IVR Diary interface is a password protected secure telephone link to your clinic database allowing your patients to complete healthcare forms and report readings such as blood pressure and blood sugar. The information entered by the patient is immediately stored in that patient's file and is available for viewing in a graphical format for easy tracking of reported clinical data over time.. This system is totally integrated with the clinic database and Internet based for global connectivity.

IVR Patient Balance Inquiry uses the same secure password protection to allow patients to hear their current balance and to make payments over the phone. Payments can be made using pre-authorized bank draft or credit card debit. Collection calls can be forwarded to this module so that patients can pay by phone immediately after talking to a staff member eliminating the need to wait for the patient to write a check and mail it.

Computerized Patient Record (CPR)

Never loose another patient chart. Health Highway’s CPR allows providers to scan all or part of their existing paper charts into their local storage media and/or upload them to Health Highway’s data center for enterprise viewing at a very low cost per entry.

Your office(s) can organize, store, manage, and share both paper-based and electronically transmitted information quickly and efficiently, anytime, anywhere. Simply convert hard copy information to electronic copy using any standard scanner or Digital Copier. Easily import electronic material from other applications. 

Electronic Charts may be stored on your computer in your office or stored on Health Highway's secure Enterprise Server for global availability. Charts stored on Health Highway's Enterprise Server are encrypted and may be secured even further using SecuGen Biometric "Finger Print" Authentication to restrict access to only those persons who need to view your charts. HIPAA mandated access logs are integrated at the database level to provide access and release information with no effort on the part of the user.
 

Integrated Transcription Services
A proprietary Digital Dictation System, designed for physicians by physicians to better serve the medical community. Physicians can dictate on any standard telephone or cellular device, 24 hours a day-7 days a week. Through a nationwide network of trained medical transcriptionists, we provide professional, accurate, and timely service with completed transcription reports delivered directly to your desktop electronically. 

Database level integration allows Health Highway to not only meet but exceed today's expectations by providing a state-of-the-art Digital Dictation System with a seamless interface to your computerized patient record. An optional service allows for a third party billing company to automatically receive a copy of the transcribed report

In order to utilize our transcription services, you must use a browser that supports the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. SSL allows you to securely send and receive encrypted data over the Internet. This protocol provides a secure channel for data transmission through its public/private key encryption capabilities. When a client connects to our Server, the session immediately goes through a "handshaking" process where the server sends a certified Digital ID to the client, whereupon an "encrypted tunnel" is created between the client and the server. This simply means that all requests by the client and, subsequently, all replies by the server are encrypted using an extremely long and complicated key. 

Access Control Lists (ACLs) allow or deny specific services for a particular user. The firewall is the next security component that you pass through. The system tracks each request that was made, who made it, when it was made, where it was made from, and where it was destined for. Each one of these items is used to determine whether the user is granted access to the requested destination and protects our network from outside access.
 

Online Purchasing/Procurement 
Health Highway has negotiated volume purchasing agreements with online vendors to supply discounted office and clinical supplies. The aggregation of procurement requests and online purchasing convenience result in, lower costs per unit as well as significant savings in staff time.
